I believe this question has been mention before, but technology is changing all the time , hence my question,

If I open email in my trash can filter and read a few lines and not downloading attachments file, is it safe before I delete the trash.
Thanks for helpful comments,

Vivere

"If I open email in my trash can filter..."

1. There is no such thing as a "trash can filter".

Might you be referring to the "Deleted Items Folder"?

Unfortunately, parts of your operating system have specific names, we don't get to name them ourselves.

Simply viewing a message will NOT subject your computer to vile thingies that will eat your first born.

1. Get an AntiVirus program!

2. Get "AdAware 2008" and "SpyBot Search and Destroy", learn to use them.

3. Stop worrying!
