Hi, I was on Yahoo! Chat there and I was talking to a Nigerian and he wanted my pic. Now I sent him a fake one as sending my my real one would be dangerous, but could he trace my IP Address by me sending the Pic to his e-mail address? Could he trace my street address and my telephone number and name by my IP address as well? Also when I sent him the Pic he said "i'm coming" and I said when and he said "Now" He also asked me to come to Lagos and told me his street address but I ignored him and he asked me for my telephone number but I told him a fake one.Can someone reply quick as i'm really worried.

your ip address will only trace as far as your isp. unless the person has esp they'll only know what internet provider you subscribe to.

my understanding is they wont be able to trace your isp if you use software like Ghost-surf. free trial version canbe found in da web. make a search.

The only way they can trace you is if your ISP gives out your personal address. You thing that is going to happen? I don't think so. These people are idiots, and they can only function if someone else acts like an idiot also. He is living half way around the world with no money, no car, shacking with a woman in something you wouldn't keep your lawnmower stored in. He is lucky to have enough money to get drunk on at night, much less pay for a round trip ticket, hotels, rental car (to which no agency would rent him anyway), etc.
Sleep well tonight.

Hey, Dan, that's the battle cry from my time! That was the flagship song of the Vietnam War protest movement on campuses around the US.

LOL, why the hell would you send a pic to another fella?

I believe you have missed the point in his dirty little correspondence. You send him a pic and he says he is coming... cumming.. get it? Obviously an evil gay man...

I feel dirty just having to explain it to you..

ranchhand, we must be of the same era then. ;>) It was also played a lot over there. I was there in 69 : 70, Central Highlands, Pleiku/Kontum, then north to the An Lao valley. That's where I first heard Abbey Road, sittin' in a bunker. ;>) Ah the memories......
