I have detected certain spyware :
Advertising.com
Avenue A Inc.
Bargain Buddy
LOP
Fastclick

I have seen LOP and Bargain Buddy before, had difficulty removing them once, and now it has been so long I do not remember what I did to remove them. I want to remove the others as well, and would like any input on how to manually remove them.

It wouldnt be as difficult, but they seem to be hiding somewhere and will not "show themselves". A few weeks ago I had Eulams on my pc, and had to go into command prompt, rename it, move it to prevent it from trying to load every time the system booted. It was confusing, and miraculously it worked.
If I could find the location I could remove it...
I am too stubborn to give up. I want to do this manually..
anyone help??? PLEASE??

Madam:

If you haven't already, download, install and update the utilities below. Ad-Aware and Spybot to remove malware; SpywareBlaster to prevent future malware.

Ad-Aware
Spybot
SpywareBlaster

Thanks for the suggestion.. I am aware of these remedies, I am just interested in learning the manual removal...if there is any. I have been successful at removing several other spyware/adware manually, but these particular ones are being detected by download, and not found anywhere in my computer.
I guess I may have to tuck my tail between my legs and use one of those downloads.

Another free download, Hijack This, can be handy for stubborn spyware problems. You can get it at www.merijn.org.
