hi ive got a nasty little virus that i cant see doing anything but i cant get rid of. i originally got it from a flash mem stick i put in a computer at uni. im using avg but i cant seam to shift it. so far the tip.exe has put itself on the hard drive and every time i put a removable media it it copy to it and creates a autorun file. it also does the same on my C drive. i thought i had got rid of it but it keeps coming back any ideas besides a fresh install to get rid of it?

turn off system restore, unplug net cable and delete the EXE file and related DLL files. Re run a virus scan. this should do it.

I'm here to help as best I can...
