Guys,..

Ive got this unwanted extension on my homepage,..a search window called tinybar,..i dont know how/cant get rid of it,....anyone help me pleease!?

hi johntaylor,
easy solution for the next time.
go to the Tools file in I.E. and click on internet options, then security button, then restricted sites, then add www.tinybar.com and any other piece of adware, spyware crap .com you wish to the list, then click apply and then ok. this should stop any and all scum from entering your computer.

try to delete sp.reg from windows directory and the key
"SearchAssistant"="http://www.tinybar.com/ie/"
from [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search]

oh sorry, you must aslo to remove "import sp.reg" from start menu [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RUN] to avoid error messages
