Specs: windows
My work computer jumps back by an hr. When I reboot it goes back to correct time. I read that there is a virus that can cause this but is not harmfull to any programs.I have Kaspersky Anti-Virus that should block all virus's could this still get through and cause this to happen?

unfortunately any one particular anti-virus cannot stop every different attack by viruses, doesn't matter which one you have.

Sounds like your bios battery is dying and it should be replaced. You said nothing about if this is a laptop, desktop, version of windows etc so we are just guessing.

It is my work computer, desk top and is running windows xp with counterpoint (point of sale program) There are about 16 computers with in the company all working with the same server. My computer tends to freeze up and run loud and puts off alot of heat at times. When I reboot the time goes back to the correct time. This is the only computer with in the complex that is doing this. I lost my job because of a clock in time issue and have been denied uneployment for company violation, I need to find out what happened and how so I can prove myself innocent and regain my emploment or at least be able to collect unemployment while searching for new employment. Thanks for any help you can give.
