well i read the post which is a few lower than mine and found no answer to why the system32 folder constantly pops up after windows loads up when i reboot/turn back on my comp... also experiencing very streaky lagg online, especially while playing games online... while i do use a 56k modem, this lagg is unprecidented and happens regularly while before i hardly ever experienced significant amounts of lagg... and help/thoughts would be nice- i have AVG for a anti virus and adaware+trojan remover

What the others have done to work on fixing the problem, is to run a general parasite removal program, as you have, and then ran this. Download HijackThis 1.97.0.7 new version http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip Unzip/extract all…and double click on hijackthis.exe. · Make sure that you extract HijackThis to its own folder, and not to a \temp folder. · If you have anything disabled by MSConfig or any other startup manager, please re-enable it before scanning to post. Run in normal startup mode. Run HijackThis, Press Scan, and wait, Save the log, (the ‘scan’ button changes to ‘save log’) Edit>select All > copy and paste its contents here. ** Don't fix anything yet. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential for your system or for the log reader to resolve the problem** Post the full log including header info in reply. I ran Norton, Spybot and Adaware. I also ran CWshredder and rebooted. It didn't find any problems. After restarted, the system 32 folder opened 2X already. I ran hijackthis and here is the log.
