I have been receiving KLEZ viruses for about a week and they are sitting in quarentine. I have tried to do a system restore because of some errors I have been getting lately, My system will not restore all restore points have been wiped out.? It tries to restore, to the only point there (yesterday) and then says it's not successful.

You have to get a KLEZ removal tool from http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.klez.e@mm.html I think this virus also kills your AV program which may need reinstalling after you are clear of this bug. You might have to purge your restore folder of restore points by disabling the function, rebooting then re-enabling, due to this virus. See the above site for more detailed info

Symantec tool does poor job - especially with Elkern.C components. Get a few tools from TREND, F-Secure and RAV antivirus. Run them all a few times (including symantec) - don't worry about system restore not working, it rarely does - I usually disable it to save disk space.
