System Restore Advanced forced to purchase$90

Specs: Windows XP, Core2/1GB
System Restore Advanced Screen pops after logging on to windows and an automatic scan occurs that is labelled Win XP System Restore. After scan is completed a series of errors are listed with harddrive and Ram, etc. Only resolution is to But the Advanced System restore for 90 bucks. Obviously a scam, but how do you get rid of it?

it is a fake anti-virus and if you by chance clicked on it you are infected:
Here is how to remove it:
1- rkill.exe (stops the malware process)
2- TDSS killer (removes unwanted rootkits if found)
3- Malwarebytes (run a full scan)
with the above, fix all they find and then reboot. Let us know if the problem still persists, thanks
