It does this by adding the +H, or hidden, attribute to the files, and then changes certain settings so that you cannot view hidden or system files.
Once the System Repair processes are terminated (with RKill, then Malwarebytes’ is run, etc.), you can enable the setting to view hidden files, and be able to see files and folders again.
Another issue is that some variants of System Repair are installing the TDSS Rootkit. That is the reason for running TDSSKiller.
