get this error message everytime my computer is connected to the internet. (URL - http://img362.imageshack.us/img362/3408/lsasserror7es.jpg)
It then gets forced to shut down after 60secs. It looks like the MS Blaster virus but I uploaded the patch and it doesn't help.

You need to download the up-to-date patches for XP - there's a fix in one of them for this - I think it came out in SP1 but I cannot remember for certain. If you do a Google on the error number you'll probably find more information.

here is detailed lsass.exe description. Its better to download one of spyware or virus remover to fix the problem. Read reviews and choose the program: here is the list of good antispyware programs and here is the list of bad programs called corrupt antispyware.
