I keep getting a popup that says “System Alert! System Detected Virus Activities.” I have no idea where its coming from, but I assume its a virus. Can any give me any advice on how I might go about determining the cause and disabling it?

Well it is a virus. Don't click on it and don't buy or download anything from the bubble.

What you can do is get antivirus software. It is the only way I know of removing these bubbles.
