I think I might have a problem - I was surfing & Macafee came up saying (something).jar needed deleting, which I did. It said it was a known trojan.
Now I have an extra icon in my system tray which looks like the internet icon, (two screens)except it's slightly different to xp's one & isn't animated. It won't allow me to right click on it, or double click it & it shows up as unknown in the taskbar/start menu settings. There doesn't seem to be any new processes running & spybot came up with nothing. I'm currently running a virus scan & I always have zonealarm, virus scan & macafee internet security running whilst online.
Any ideas what this icon is or where it has come from please? I've done a search on viruses to see if any use that system tray icon but found nothing. All help appreciated.

Just try using msconfig.
Click Start>Run>Msconfig & press enter.
Now click on Start-up button at top and if you know the icon name etc. clear the check box to stop running that program at start-up.Niko
