I had the same problem...give this a shot and post back if all is well, ok? This worked for me.
For the Sygate Home GHP Set “Generic Host Process for Win32 Services” (svchost.exe) in the running applications window to allow.
Right click on Sygate in the system tray go to applications… > right click on “Generic Host Process for Win32 Services” (svchost.exe) go to advanced… > uncheck “Act as Server” then ok.
