I just updated my copy of swat it and ran a scan. It is saying that I have 3 infected files and all 3 are items I downloaded from www.grc.com. FireDLL.dll,leaktest.exe, and firehole firewall test.exe.. I always thought grc programs were saft to use, could one of the experts give their advise. or could it be that swatit is doing such a good job that it is just showing these as trojans because of the type of tests they run on your computer and as steve gibson professes these are ok programs..thanx for any input...I Love This Site

once you have legit progs from grc then swat it is screwing up .. simple as that i don't think grc would give you a trojan.

Just as I suspected, I have always been pleased with steve gibsons site, I have been going there for a couple of years, I really enjoy there discussion forums..that is why I have not deleted these programs, I figured swatit was mistaken..I just wanted to see what others had to say...thanx...

It s beacuse they are trojans, they look for holes, exploit them and send infomation home. its just that the auther is grc so the infomation sent (you hope ) is non harmfull
