svchost.exe,firewall blocking

why would a svchost.exe continuisly keep trying to acceses my pc ?and how can i find out where the source ip is ? i have ip addy and port numebers.
also what it could be trying to do ?

svchost.exe is an internal windows process that allows for other processes to run as a service. Some of the processes that it hosts are critical system processes. Give us some info of the traffic and/or port information that you are seeing and we might be able to say if it is legitimate or not. Odds are that the traffic you are seeing is outbound traffic and not inbound.
