i have a broadband connection and whenever i want to connect my pc to the net, this svchost(genric host process) wants to connect to the internet.i allow it since i know to is used to lookup the dns.But i have noticed that even when i have left my computer idle while connected, a lot of data is downloaded (at approx 2mb in 2-3 minutes) and i dont know what the hell is it downloading cause i dont see where all this goes.my firewall(zonealarm) also doesnt show any problems.at this rate i will have to end up paying a lot by the end of the month for somethings i didn't even download.i guess it is all because of this svchost thing as my firewall shows it blinking as it is active.can someonme plzzz help?
