Hi ananth,

Svchost.exe is a generic host process name for services that run from dynamic-link libraries (DLLs).

In your taskmanager-processes if the task runs under your user name then it is an infected file.

You can see many process under this name, u can differentiate between infected files and non infected files just by looking at the user name. This process is initiated by the system.

There are certain virus's 'in the wild' which corrupts this file ...
