I installed XP Home, earthlink total access, and AVG Free today. After all of this i started getting an error with this file isasss.exe. The error causes the system to shut down and restart, but, get this, it gives you like 30 or 45 seconds to save your work. I know isass.exe (with 2 s's) is a virus, i am not familiar with Isasss.exe (3 S's). Google has a lot of info about this file, but unfortunatley most of it is in German or something. I found some info in english, but it wasn't much help. I deleted the file manually, and the system seems to be running fine, but I am not sure. Does anyone have any info that might be useful.

Hi,
Most likely you have the sasser worm. If you can use a computer that isn't infected, go to Symantec and download their removal tool and print out their instructions on removing the virus.
