My computer has been taken over by a virus. I have done numerous tests to see if this is the dreaded 'Conflicker' virus, but no dice. It is however a similar virus. Updates are blocked from anything. I can not update Windows, or Windows Defender, or any of the numerous anti-viral programs I have downloaded. There is a lot of network congestion, also. The performance of the machine is now overall very slow. I do not know what to do, it seems like I have tried most everything to fight off this virus, but it's always one step ahead...Does anyone know what this virus sounds like and how it can be stopped? Thanks....I welcome all and any advice....
