Hi all,
For the past couple of months, I’ve been experiencing many problems of different programs not responding.
I had MacAfee but I changed it to Symantec AV. I couldn’t uninstall MacAfee in a proper manner. I removed it but still appearing.
Now the very serious problem is that my PC started suddenly to be very slow. Any process makes the CPU Usage almost 100%. I had a problem last year I think with worms and luckily Jabuck was there to help ;)
I have no experience with either software or hardware; so I appreciate any help.

Sounds like a conflict between McAfee and Norton. Neither one is one of my favorites as they are both paid bloatware IMO.
You may want to use regcleaner to clean out the rest of the junk mcAfee leaves on your PC. Those 2 AV's are like parasites...they get so imbedded on a PC it's almost impossible to clean them out.
Good Luck

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

XpUser4Real,
thanks for your response. I removed the MacAfee last year, but the sudden slowness problem started two days ago only. Anyway, where or how can I get a regcleaner.
Thanks again
