I tried the other suggestions in my previos post. It says that I do not have permission to do anything with the file. Is reinstalling Win98se the only option. I tried going the the Bo site that was mentioned on another problem and kept getting page not found on some of the links. HEEELLLPPP!!!!!!
hello have you got the excat name of the file that the trojin is in? if so you can gointo dos mode and delete it from there. since your running 98 just reboot into dos and at the promt type del than file name than press enter .you might want to ask in dos forum or 98 forum for the ecact dos comand for this .ive not used much dos in a long while. some of the older trojins you could rewrite but i see this ones file protected.they must have caught onto the easy way of getting rid of them.try the dos deleteing of it. allso type trojins name in google and you might fined a tool or utillitie or better instructions on how to rid your self of this good luck

Download and run The Cleaner from http://www.moosoft.com/download.php
After removing the trojan, download and install a firewall www.zonealarm.com
Then install a antivirus program (AVG - free) http://www.grisoft.com/html/us_index.htm
And, since you could have had an intruder in your PC because of the trojan, immediately change ALL passwords everywhere

Thanks sooooooo very much. I tried deleting the file in dos. No go. I downloaded the cleaner and that sucker is gone. When I restarted it said that win.ini could not find the file pawmulwdfyxr.exe, so I deleted it form there to. Getting ready to download zonealarm. Again, thank you.
