Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! While using Firefox I can only open two and have one tab running before Firefox stop responding and I have to restart the computer to get Firefox to pick up the internet again. Last month my computer was fine, it was as fast as I needed it to be but now it's just slow to respond and unpredictable. I used AVG to scan for viruses and it says the computer is clean, but I haven't put any new software or files on it enough to make it act this slow. Every few days while I'm using Firefox, Internet Explorer with open around twenty popups- I wonder if this is causing the massive slowdown?

If any more information is needed I will provide it. Any help is very very appreciated and I will praise you to high heavens.

Might consider a restore point to a time when it work with system restore.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
