Hi folks,

What about the antivir scan that Stop Sign offers? it,s shareware, but It detects a lot of stuff that another software (common antivir or antitrojan) doesn,t finds...could anyone tell me anything else about this??? Why does Ad-aware consider it as spyware or anything like this??? Where is the explanation about its spyware actions?

Cheers 4 all

Stop Sign(E-Anthology) is the pits. It comes with IMESH, and can really be an experience, and a test of your computing skills to remove. There are many reviews about it. If you do a Google search you can find them, or use the search at the top of this page, using security to find more information. Bottom line, "STAY AWAY" from it! Take care!

I agree with Norm 100%.STAY AWAY from e-anthology!Their crap can be hard to get rid of!As an anti-virus program they are not proven at all.NOD32,Norton,Kapersky,Solo,AVG(free) are way better alternatives if you are looking for an av program that works.I have had e-anthology,(just long enough to figure out how to dump it). They have been mentioned in a few web forums lately. And e-anthology is not "popular"!Regards.JB

After re-reading your post Visitante I see I missed part of what you asked. There are things that e-anthology has come under fire for.You asked why Adaware targets them as spyware.A lot of this issue has to do with "questionable" download tactics. That and recently people were reporting it to be extremely difficult to un-install.Do they transmit or monitor you? I don't know.I consider them Not cool. But in all fairness I have seen in a forum that e-anthology corporate types have promised to make changes regarding download tactics and un-install issues. If you want to see a lot of info about e-anthology and recent links, problems with the program go to spywareinfo.com support forum and look for e-anthology thread under spywatch category.Hope this helps.JB
