stator found in .exe file on a network drive, but how do i remove it?

situation:
people will create a shortcut from this .exe to their desktop, so the program runs off the network. i have taken it off of several computers, but how do i get rid of it from THIS PARTICULAR .exe file that remains on the server? do i just have to copy a new .exe from the original CD?

i'm using Command antivirus. when i run it on the server, it DETECTS it, but WON'T CLEAN it.

thanks...

Is it the virus W32.Stator? If it is, the websites of Symantec, Macafee and Trend Micro will have the best removal instructions for it. I do know there are some very specific steps that have to been done to isolate each computer while you clean it. Take care and all the best!
