hey Mary123456,

First, you have the older version of SpyBot. Try downloading/installing/updating SpyBot v 1.3

Second, on the page linked below you will see a link for CWShredder. On the same page the CWShredder link directs you to, near the bottom, you will see a tool called Kill2Me.

Use that to remove your Look2Me infection.

It also wouldn't hurt to run CWShredder and Lavasoft's Ad-Aware 6. There are many tools on the page linked below. Look them over and consider them.

Links to all these tools can be found here:

GOOD LUCK!

Yeah the older version of Spybot has not had an update for your Definitions file in like 6 months (and will have NO MORE) Get the ver 1.3 and then update it!!!! Last update 6-1-04

Your spyware or anti-virus scanner is only as good as it's updated Def file is.

When you actually have bugs bugging you then you need to boot into Safe Mode and run various scans from there. Many things can hide in Windows normal mode.

Adaware-6 is another great free compliment to Spybot. "NO 1 program will catch everything!!!" When you are bugged then you need to use the whole arsenal until you get the bugger or research the actual bug name for specific details on killing it.

Ps: You are actually using the "Remove selected items" button in Spybot - Yes?

Do you use the "Immunize" function in Spybot?
quite helpful.

Get the new program version, then update it, then run it. Then boot to Safe Mode (usually F8 key repeatedly fast as soon as you hit power ON) and run your updated: a/v, Spybot, adaware-6, etc.
Use the specific tool already posted above.
Good Luck
