Does anyone know anything about the twain32 trojan? It installed a file named "atmlk.exe" on my system, and now I have no browsing capabilities. I'm not sure yet what to do, other than obvious stuff. I'm running something now that I just learned about called Ewido Anti-Malware.

well atmclk.exe will continuously get back the variants of SpywareQuake if you havent remove it. You must erdicate this variant or infection before I can say that it was a success. More info on atmclk.exe and SpywareQuake Removal.
The twain32.dll file as well as atmclk.exe is related to the SpyFalcon parasite. It is one of the most prevalent trojans today. If your system is infected, try removing the pest manually by going through these removal instructions.

I typed atmclk into google, and found a number of sites with advice. I downloaded smitfraudfix and followed instructions, and internet explorer now works, and I am no longer plagued by annoying pop ups telling me I have spyware.

I had atmclk as well. At the Lavasoft site, they mentioned http://www.prevx.com/
I installed it and ran it. Cleaned up atmclk and 4 other trojans. Worked like a charm and easy to use.
