Comment:
I used Ad-aware to catch and delete the spyware. However, adverstisement of a website still exists on the top of Internet Explorer (the blue bar). E.g. Computing.Net - Post to Security and Virus Forum - www.MXXXXX.com It seems that even though I deleted the spyware, it changed some settings of IE and destroyed the live update function of my Norton Antivirus. Can you tell me how to fix the blue bar?

Start/Run/type regedit, click OK.Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/Main(click on it to highlight it).See if you can spot the offending text next to "Window Title" in the right-hand pane.If so,right-click on "Window Title",select "Modify",type in what you want to read/see on your IE title bar.
