I'm hoping someone in this forum may have a suggestion to help me. I own a second computer for personal use in which I believe someone has loaded a spyware software (ie. let's them see every keystroke I type, etc) in order to track everything I do. I believe it sends them an email or gives them a gui to be able to see my emails, passwords, websites visited, etc... Running spybot, adaware, and norton has not located anything, but I'm fairly confident it's on there somewhere.
Can anyone tell me how I may be able to find it and remove it?
What makes you think that a keylogger has been loaded? Did someone have physical access to your machine or send you an executable that you ran without knowing what it was?
If Spybot, Adaware, and Symantec all failed to find anything, then there's probably nothing to find. You could always try Hijack this. Then, post the log results.
KL-Detector http://dewasoft.com/privacy/kldetec... Use KL-Detector to find out whether your activity is being recorded without your knowledge. It is designed to be able to detect all keyloggers. And it's free. For Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Windows 95/98/Me is not supported. Sorry.
