Can only one anti spyware program be used at a time? At present I have AVG which is due to expire in a few days. If I go ahead & d/l a new anti spyware will it automatically pick up when AVG expires? Thanks.

I use Spywareblaster.
You can download it from this link Spywareblaster
Just download it,install it, and update it. Its free and runs in the background, so you don't actually run it, and re-writes malicious script before it can install on your computer. Look for updates weekly as there is no auto-update on the free version.

GEORGE!
Please don't fall into that trap!
WAAY too many people are beginning to classify anything they don't want on their computer as spyware.
You cannot find any one product that will protect you from everything!
Learn what a virus is!
...and a worm!
...trojans!
...and spyware!
Each one is a different animal, each MUST be treated differently.
As far as AVG, install it again!

george jones, you can use many different spyware software. In my link you will find free ones that work great. I wouldn't suggest running more than 1 spyware prog in real-time. Each prog on that page finds different things that the others miss. You can run them all.
>>I have AVG which is due to expire in a few days<<
If you are using the pay version and it is expiring, why not try Avast Free and Comodo Pro firewall....they work great together at no cost to you.
I use those 2 along with Spyware terminator which runs in real-time too.
The decision is yours
Some HELP in posting on Cnet plus free progs and instructions Glad to Help!
