I think you are covered enough. I only use Ad-Aware for spyware and I never have any problems. There is no need to spend money on a commerical spyware remover if you have all three of those programs. What is helpful is a firewall, and I suggest Zone Alarm. The only thing about ZA is that its unfriendly to internet games like Call of Duty. I just turn it off if I wan't to play that game online. But if you don't play any/many games, ZA does a great job of keeping the bad guys out.

Feeling insecure?

That's plenty of protection - there can be such a thing as overkill, particularly if the main function of your computer seems to be to running security programs.

Also - don't believe everything you read - opinions are, after all... opinions.

Have a look at Suzi's page - - your "#1 program" is mentioned there

Hi,

MS Anti Spyware & SpywareBlaster would also help.

None of these programs except MS Anti Spyware or AD-AWatch a component of the advanced versions of Ad-Aware use any resources.

With Spybot Search & Destroy also use the Immunise feature.

A Squared also looks for Malware, there are freeware & paid for versions of this.

Both are easily found.

Here's another one no one mentioned - IE-SPYAD if you use IE.

https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ehowes/www/resource.htm#IESPYAD

It now has over 14,000 known dangerous domains and IPs. It puts them into your restricted site zone where you should have security set to high.

Since you alredy have Spybot S&D, you can use Tea Timer which gives you active protection. SpySweeper also has active protection.

Microsoft Antispyware is still useful, even though it's not perfect. No anti-spyware program is 100% effective at removing everything. That's why you should have more then one, 2 or 3 is good.
