I've been battling spyware constantly for months now.I have all the spyware detection programs ad-aware,spybot,bazooka,ect as well as spyware prevention spywareblaster, spywareguard, ect.
I have followed the advice of many forum topics related to various spyware issues and I cant seem to keep spyware off my pc.I have hijackthislog and will happily post my log file if asked.I also have process explorer and have noticed that rundll32 seems to be a major culprit in my problem, when i run it and look at the process tree, its loaded with spyware entries.I have never seen rundll32 listed in the running processes list before until just recently and it's sucking up all my ram. When i get rid of all the spyware on my pc it no longer shows up as running until I'm reinfected. The latest spyware that I've been having problems with is Educationprovider.com.i think it might be related to zestyfind.com but I'm not sure. After scouring the net for info on Educationprovider.com,I have found nothing except their homepage.Through all this I've deleted numerous entries in my registry after running all my spyware detection programs but i'm wondering if I'm missing something imbedded deep.I have been careful about what sites I visit so I dont think thats how I keep getting reinfected.

If anyone belonging to this forum has sucessfully removed spyware and kept it from coming back ,please reply.

Thanks in advance for any help and or advice.

Sincerely,
t0ke

Dude,

First of all, you should make sure what websites you are surfing are safe. Any "adult entertainment" or warez/crack site will almost always have at least one of those. Try to stay off the internet for just a few days if you can, and wait until your system is totally clean, just to make sure the programs are working. Then, switch web browsers. Got to {my favorite) FireFox. So far no one has found a vulnerability yet (I think. Correct me If I'm wrong). Third, get a firewall. I know it's probably not going to help, but hey, what the hell.
P.S: If you find fault with my suggestions, please tell me. I'm not that good at giving advice.

if you don't have a virus, you have a trojan or a worm. virus detectors usually won't find them.
