Spyware Doctor
I purchased and installed SD April 2006. I had no problems or conflicts with any other software.
I found SD identifies Trojans and spywares that Ad-Aware, Spybot or SpySweeper miss.
The only negative that I find has to do with the amount of time that it takes to load (I have it to start on boot). After it comes up, it goes to find if there are any updates and 90% of the time finds updates, so it goes for another couple of minutes and then stops and then restarts itself, adding another couple of minutes. Then... if one of the updates require reboot, you imagine going through the restart all over again. If you are in a rush to get on the system, you may wait for ten minutes to have the system ready to use. Anybody knows how to speed it up?
But in all sincerity, other than this startup negative, I am pleased that I decided to buy it.
By the way, I also use BitDefender 9, SpySweeper 5, ZoneAlarm and manually I use Ad-Aware, SpyBot.

I hate bugs

Have a look in Task Manager & see if it is the cpu hog culprit.
Using the Windows Task Manager (XP)

SpywareBlaster is great but it is more likely to stop nasties getting in than to prevent their antics if they are already onboard.
