Don't try to repair this in normal boot mode, boot to safe mode.

If you are using System Restore, I would restore to a previous point before you installed this software.

If that doesn't work then, anything you downloaded recently I would UNINSTALL from add/remove programs.

Clean the temp directories.

Are you using Java, Quicktime, Adobe Reader? Uninstall any old versions and upgrade to the latest version.

Good luck.

Heya bestofbothworlds85,

Did you try to boot into "safe mode" like Jeruvy said?... you do this while your computer is starting up.

To boot into "safe mode" tap the F8 key during start-up. Tap it say about once a second. A black and white screen should come up with the "safe mode" option at the top.

When you get there the screen will look cartoonish... this is normal. Run your anti-spyware and antivirus programs.

By the way... what anti-virus and spyware programs do you have installed?
