I have been having a major issue with spyware on my machine. I downloaded the AD Aware free version and when I scan, it helps; but I have malware that keeps popping up in every scan. I can't find the source of the Malware, but it affects internet explorer. Every time I'm online, IE will open a separate window that will have ads for what ever I am looking at online. I can't find where it's hidden. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

i think you should try some other anti spyware as well. ad aware is great software, but you know there's no perfect tool, so some other program may be able to detect what ad-aware misses. you can find free anti spyware at free anti spyware download.
there's also a possibility that the adds are displayed by some program that you take as legitimate one. if you've installed some new toolbar, searchbar, p2p program, free mouse cursors or something like that you should really check if the program you use are reputable.

you're right, however when pc is already infected it's a bit too late for the prevention :) but i agree on the need of security tools.
