Spycrush program (Trojan itself!)

While surfing last night I suddenly got a popup (which even now is bothering me...) saying I had a spyware/trojan called Spy.Win3.mx. This would be alright but considering I didn't download (knowingly) this spyware detector (believe its called Spycrush)I am really ticked off. It was somehow put on my computer, probably thru an infected link. I traced it down to C:\Winnt\system32\config, but I can't delete it as it is always running.

When you click on the tool bar icon it takes you to a web site where you can buy it. I sent them an email but somehow I don't expect to get an anwer.

Has anyone else been attacked by this thing? How do I get rid of it?

Hi

Try this download RogueRemover from majorgeeks SpyCrush is in the programs list of targeted programs

If any advice helps, please post back as it might help others.

RogueRemover worked. The other site found "problems" but wanted $30 to fix anything.
