Spybot has an up-date, my first attempt said bad checksum, so I d/l'd from safer networking Europe and it installed immediately.

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Thanks XpUser... Servers must be busy as heck...couldn't d/l anything because of a "bad checksum".

Thanks XP! It was rather an exercise in patience. DOS attack perhaps?

It found five entries of the good ol' DSO exploit on my laptop running WinXP.

Mine also showed the ole' DSO too.... I ended up right-clicking it, and telling it to ignore future mentioning of it.

Why Tommy? I allowed it to fix them. They did not show up again on a rescan.

Hi Rimfire... I had thought it was that same false detection that I had seen a couple of months ago; I maybe confused it with that one.
Seems as though I remember fixing something, but having it reappear at every rescan that I performed. I thought it was that same false detection....maybe not though.
I'll remove it tomorrow morning (gotta hit the sheets and count sheep here now, lol) and see if it reappears.. Thanks for that reply.... I'm curious if it will reappear and will find out tomorrow.
Take care Rimfire.. talk to you later.
