spybot search & destroy

I scanned my pc using spybot & it has shown up this DSO Exploit. Can anyone tell me what this is because lavavsofts Ad aware doesnt pick this up. Thank you

Try this site John where, it explains what DSO is.
The site that Tuf suggested is ok but asks for an enrolment/ subscription fee to see the answer, to me that's not tennis.

If you scroll down, on the link Tufenuf gave, the "Accepted Answer" is there. If you want something easier on the eyes {my opinion}. Use this link, and it will get the same things. But, as I said, easier on the eyes :-)

Yeah, and Spybot will find things that Ad-Aware doesn't, vica versa.

If you use WM Player I read somewhere [probably here] that 5 DSO exploits will show up in S&D scans...there is a work around but involves editing the registry.

I will try and dig the link out for you

I dont know what the exploits are exactly, but I do know that they come back as soon as you run spybot again.I followed the routes spybot gave and deleted them myself.No more dso exploites!

IF YOU ARE UP TO DATE WITH WINDOWS UPDATES YOU ARE NOT VUNLERABLE TO DSO EXPLOITS.

this is a bug in spybot which will be rectified,probaly on new build
