I was wondering if someone can help me - i was having some problems with Spyware and other viruses but seemed to have cleared most up by taking some advice found on this website, i have now got Spybot S&D, Spware blaster, ad-aware, CWshredder and reg seeker and also changed from IE to firefox.

But one problem persists everytime i run Spybot S&D it finds the same problem 5 entries under DSO exploit, i fix these and then purge the items too, but guranteed they will be back even if i run the check 5 mins later.

Can anyone help please, what am i doing wrong. (all of the above are completely updated)

Thanks

You are not doing anything wrong.. Spybot has a glitch in which it leaves a reference, even thought the DSO exploit is no more. I am sure it will be fixed in the next upgrade release. So DSO is indeed gone on your computer. I have the same thing, I am just too lazy to hack my register and change the reference.

Then industry pollutes the water and kills all the fish....

Nick, get a small program called dsostop2.exe. It will remove the glitch and the DSO Exploit references will vanish.
