Just ran into Spy wiper. He took over IE and lost control of my home page. I tried system restore, McAfee,Internet Washer, Spybot and re-setting my home page through IE tools. Nothing worked. In desperation I returned to Internet Washer and clicked on "settings". I was able to re-gain control of my computer by going to "reset home page" and typing in my homepage url. It worked like a charm. Hope this helps someone out there.

Fools that endorse MailWiper (aka SpyWiper)
According to the testimonials on MailWiper's site (http://www.mailwiper.com/testimonials.html), two of their big supporters are Dalton M. Haines of Amherst Technologies (http://www.amherst1.com) who is also president of the Christian Business Chamber (http://www.christianbusinesschamber.com), and Buzz Ayola, president of Buzzword Productions (http://www.buzzwordproductions.com).
Here is what Dalton has to say about MailWiper: "So far it seems like an excellent program and I am glad I have recommended as often as I have. Rarely do I recommend anything without trying it first but the reviews were good and the first time I did recommend it, the person that began using it was thoroughly impressed.
I handle many fortune 500 accounts and specialize in the education community. My team of inside support specialist and engineers are often influenced by testimony, needless to say my customer base. My operating area is all of Central and South Texas. Actually my customer base is in excess of over 250,000 desktops, sort of freaky when you think of it that way isn't it? I think your product will be beneficial to many. Good luck with the company and I hope to see your products more and more."
Here is what Buzz has to say about MailWiper: "I just finished doing some extensive tests on your software and I LOVE IT! I am currently receiving 185 junk EMAIL's per night. I need to wade through them all in order to find things that I actually need. After downloading your software I started testing how it actually works and I must say it is INCREDIBLE. I hate the idea that I should actually have to purchase a product to stop this crap but for $30.00 I guess I can live with it.
Include me in your satisfied customer list. Outstanding software. After the tests I do not think that I will need to EMAIL you again. Hope I feel the same in 3 weeks. It was funny that I received your EMAIL in the masses of crap that I was trying to get away from but that is your target market. Use my name in any testimonial you want. This is GREAT!"
Anyone wishing to contact Dalton Haines and Buzz Ayola concerning their infatuation with MailWiper can find their contact information at http://www.christianbusinesschamber.com/CBCC_Contact_Us.htm and http://www.buzzwordproductions.com/iat_001.htm (contact info at bottom of page).
Buzz Ayola's testimonials are also posted at http://www.my-spam-blocker.com/testimonials.html, http://www.my-spam-guard.com/, http://www.my-spam-assassin.com/, and http://www.unified-view.com/junk-email.html.

I just called up Buzz Ayola at 925-875-0405. He had NO IDEA that Mailwiper was using him as an endorsement. Isn't that odd.
