Spy sweeper.exe uses 99% CPU

Hi, I have used spy sweeper for almost 3 years now and had no problems with it. A few days ago suddenly my computer slowed down remarkebily. every process takes ages... When I check the windows task manager it shows spy sweeper .exe using 99% of CPU!!! I don`t understand why, this has never happend before. I have updated to the lastest version. Scanned, even uninstalled and re-installed it twice, with the same result. I have sent a request to the Webroot support 4 dagys ago, but have not yet got any answer yet. Can anyone help me? I have a laptop with Win. XP-pro. Thanks
