Hi there...When I am using the internet my mouse will not react properly and seems to flick around all over the place ...its soooooo frustrating getting it to click in the right place. This seems to be happening after scanning with a trendmicro free scan...but dunno if just conincidental.??? Any ideas?? its a microsoft wheel Optical

Heavy HD activity will cause this sort of thing to happen. Check your HD light and see if the HD is "extremely" active when it happens and if the mouse works normally when the activity level goes back down. If so the AV is just keeping the processor so busy it can't keep up with other processes.
Summary: My mouse pointer automatically changes to a bar code within a few minutes of connecting to the internet. Once this happens, the mouse pointer cannot be changed back even from the mouse properties area...
