Solved someones remotely in my computers through router, i think?

Specs: Windows 8, 4gb ddr3
cannot download some critical updates, cant change settings in security, says i'm using a public connection. and files are shared, cannot uninstall any programs or if I am able to, they show back a few minutes. i'm on a home computer w my son connected on another computer in his room and his xbox. tried to bring it back to factory settings but it still is same after 5 resets in 2 days, i'm not very knowledgeable on computers .but know enough that some ones on it

Make sure your router has wireless encryption set, this will prevent anyone from accessing your network wirelessly without the encryption key.

Then re-do factory recovery and immediately install a third-party firewall and antivirus package. I recommend Comodo Internet Security (free version, not the Pro version):

Thank you, will try it and report back to you a.s,a.p.. One question though , Do I need a cd for router though? Not sure I have one. Thank you for the help : )
