Smitfraud c.coreservice

I am basically still a computer novice and was wondering if someone walk me step by step to remove a trojan horse called smitfraud-c.coreservice. Have been running Spybot for the last couple weeks and it advises me it cannot fix the problem. Thanks

I found this by googleing, http://www.politicalgateway.com/new... I don't know if this will work. But get yourself Adaware 2007 & if you don't have any anti virus, get AVG free. Before posting try google. Backup. Use anti virus software.

Read a previous post here in regards to smitfraud: http://www.computing.net/security/w... Basically you will need a cleaner and the malware removal tool (ccleaner and SUPERAntispyware). Don't worry about the hijackthis threads as the malware was primarily removed without it. Run ccleaner first in normal mode and read the post in regards to SUPERAntispyware.

Summary: Ive been desperately trying to remove the Smitfraud-C.Coreservice spyware from my computer but have failed miserably. Spybot is not able to remove it and other spyware programs dont even recognize it....
