Comment: I had some wierd viruses and spyware...so i used a couple free online scanners to get rid of the bad files..and now the computer is fine other than 1.When she starts up it sits at the welcome screen just before the password/user select...it says its loading windows for a LONG time..and some times it never even goes to the password part..i just have to restart. 2. I cant change the wallpaper...the desktop tab is there in display properties..but the word background is greyed out and the browse button is also. u canot change the picture or teh backround colour at all. When i had the viruses it had a "restore active desktop" button when you click on it the background goes blue and it said.."u have spyware/viruses ..remove them" lol now that screen is gone but the background is always a stupid beige colour..eww..plz help me! thx

Reply: (edit)you are still infected. Maybe you have used some of the corrupt antipayware programs which are parasites itself. try to choose spyware remover wisely. there are more than 350 spyware removers in the market and majority of them are really bad products made just to deceive the user and get money. Read reviews: here is the list of good antispyware programs and here is the list of bad programs called corrupt antispyware.
