New to computers. How do I know if I need files that have been detected by virus program? Most file names detected begin with C:/Program Files/. Does this mean they are important? Should I delete or Quarantine?

If a file has been detected as being infected by a virus, you do NOT need it, unless it is a file that can be healed.

addendum to abve post - even though it is infected and you need to delete it. IF it is a program file that got infected and needs to be deleted, you may then have to reinstall the program, please keep that in mine
