shift virus?

I really don't know whet it started , but all kind of funny things happen just to the shift key's. If i press the left shift key, outlook program starts, if I press the right key, it lowers my sound ...?!
help me to find what happened

It may be sticky keys...

Press the shift button 5 times and switch them off.

Fingers crossed.

it is a PC and it is not the stick keys (every time i push the shift key, it opens an outlook document or just it decreases the volume)

try replacing the keyboard, sounds like it has headed south and they are real cheap to buy anymore.

:), I found another strange thing:
- the Alt key opens me a window with a search mode...
maybe i will try to reinstall the windows

It really does sound like "sticky keys".

This is in the accessibility options in XP, and is created to make life easier for people with disabilities.

The page linked below will provide a script for you, it will do no harm to run it.

Click on the link below and click on the link at line 211 on the right hand side.

Disable Sticky Keys or Delete Sticky Keys
