I am not to familiar with shaw but I would drop it and get AVG ANTI-VIRUS or Avast Anti-Virus and a good firewall such as Zone Alarm or Kerio PF
" You're only as safe as your last update "

If your using the older version of shaw secure uninstall, download and install the new version. It is much better, also scans for spyware and monitors your entire system. It will alert you of any changes being made. The firewall is great and the antivirus just caught the lodear.c trojan mentioned a few lines below your question when scanning my incoming email a few days ago.My girlfriend's computer had problems with the old version but none since using the newer one.I would recommend this product and best of all it's free with my suscription.
