i had this problem last week. it went away now it's back. Microsfot anti pops up the SEP virus trying to install, so i block it. then again and then a third time. Always on reboot. I remove it with MS anti and it comes back I turned on System Restore and in safe mode killed it. It's back again any advice?

Abominable, For starters, is the virus itself doing anything or are you just tired of seeing your MS anti telling you its trying to install? If its the virus, what symptoms are you having? I would get a different anti-virus program than microsoft. Something like Norton, McAfeee, or Panda, my recomendation is Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition if you can get your hands on it. Then I would download the recomended antivirus/adware/spyware programs listed on this site. Run them and if you're still having problems, download and run HijackThis by Merijn.org, and save the log file so one of the guys on here can read it and tell you what to do.

I wonder if you have this folder C:\PROGRAM FILES\SEP Usually you have these line in your HT log or something similar: O2 - BHO: Band Class - {C5183ABC-EB6E-4E05-B8C9-500A16B6CF94} - C:\PROGRAM FILES\SEP\SEP.DLL O3 - Toolbar: Band Class - {C5183ABC-EB6E-4E05-B8C9-500A16B6CF94} - C:\PROGRAM FILES\SEP\SEP.DLL
