I don't know if this is exacly a virus, or if its my windows that has a big problem. But I am getting this error when I try to open something (Anything at all). The error asks if I want to send the report to Microsoft or not. I have tried everything. The error: http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/892/firefox0qe.jpg http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/7334/msn2it.jpg (This is just an example, it happens with EVERY program, not only these) I ofcourse can ignore the error, and go on browsing, or using the program (or else I woulnt be here posting this). But it is quite annoying. Also, sometimes my whole PC freezes for no reason. And updating stuff like McAfee or Ad-Aware is impossible, because it just freezes. (I had to update McAfee manually). Does anyone have any idea what this can be? And how to fix this? Is this a virus? And so yes, how to remove it? I will be thankfull if someone would help :)

Does it happen in safe mode? If it doesn't run msconfig, go to startup and disable all. Reboot and see if it still happens. If it doesn't it's one of the programs in startup. Also, look in the registry HKLM Software Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion Run Delete any strange keys if you know what you're looking at.

first of all you can turn off the notify Right click on my computer and go to properties/advanced/error reporting and click on disable. Now you won't get the message Then do extensive spyware checks using: Spybot S&D Spyware Blaster See if that helps you. Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
